Torah Thoughts on BHeha'alotecha - We Are His!

This weeks Torah study is called Beha'alotecha (when you step up).

Parasha: Numbers 8:1 - 12:16.

First Aliyah; Numbers 8:1-14.

What is so very interesting to me is the last verse in this study. Verse 14 says, “Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.”

I am completely captivated by the thought of what the Levites must have been thinking when YHVH said that they are going to be His very possession! Wow! Consider that! He said, “…the Levites shall be mine.”

If I had heard those words on that day, I would completely understand that from that moment on, I would be completely under the protection of the Creator of the universe! l would be in the hands of the ultimate provider and I would be the choice servant of YHVH- the Great I Am! What more could anyone want?!

Guess what? All of what I just described is the reality of all whom name the name of Yeshua! We have not only become His choice servants, but we have been given the power to become His sons and daughters! Hallelujah! We don’t have to imagine, we can live it. It is written in His word. We have a special place in the heart of our Abba- our Father!

Let us each endeavor to walk in that reality. We should never let where we are determine who we are. Let me repeat that...

We should never let WHERE we are determine WHO we are, Amen?

We are not only King’s and Priests of the Most High, but we are Sons and Daughters of the Everlasting Father! Take this week to understand that our place is within his heart and we are ever watched by our good Father!

I hope that encourages you!  Shalom to you all as you walk in His presence!
